Artist Biography

Lynn Schwartz interest in art began when she was a young girl.  "I remember going outdoors and making a nature picture.  I took the petals from Irises stained purple.  I remember rubbing grass on paper."

Before majoring in painting at the University Of Oklahoma, she studied liberal arts, art history and studio history at Pine Manor in Wellesley, Massachusetts.  Lynn has worked in various media which include watercolor, oil and acrylic.  She is a member of the Kansas Signature Watercolor Society.  She was inducted into the National Acrylic Painters Association where her "Lilies" was chosen for exhibition in Birmingham, England.
