Artist Biography
Artist Biography
Semi-abstract landscape paintings
with tones of realism are the emotional response of
an intuitive artist to nature, its color, mood and movement.
Using the dynamics of color and value, the artist's
goal is to elicit a similar response in the viewer.
Images with origins in the present and remembered scenes
from the past coalesce on the canvas. The palatte is
warm, and the work is finished when the colors and forms
fill the canvas with life, light movements and/or mystery.
The artist paints landscapes using a multi-layered
paint technique. The works are painted on canvas with
high-quality opaque oil pigments.
