Artist Biography
"My work is conceived
as image ideas from direct and careful observation of
nature and, in contrast, mans structural impositions
on the landscape and environment. Natural phenomena,
the mysterious and enigmatic characteristics in nature
that developed a special curiosity in me as a child
are the things that continue to interest me the most
as an artist. Formally, my concerns have to do with
spiritual illusions, light and its quality, color and
surface. I would classify myself as a colorist that
is trying to arrive at a kind of personal truth about
the image he makes."
